Why Microsoft can’t beat Sony

Bill Gates delivers the following astonishing insight to Bloomberg:
“The future of gaming really involves software,” Gates said.
Ten paragraphs later we learn:
To let consumers do more with the Xbox, Microsoft said it will offer a digital camera, steering wheel and wireless headset, also in time for the holidays.
Make up your mind, Bill. Is it about the software or about attaching a bunch of silly gizmos (”hardware“) to the machine?

Get off your Sega Genesis and actually say something. We all know that XBox doesn’t have a clue. Its primarily because it costs too damn much to actually produce the machine and they don’t know to brand it as a late comer.
Gamers that want to play on a console don’t use X-Box because they see it as being too much like a PC.
