A veteran financial journalist, Christy spent more than a decade covering international markets and investing from New York and Tokyo as a Senior Editor at Forbes, Bloomberg News and breakingviews.com. He is a CFA Charterholder and worked briefly as an analyst at a boutique investment management firm before launching the Forbes International Investment Report and borderlessinvestor.com. He is also the About.com guide to International Investing.
While at Forbes, John was short-listed three times in four years for Business Journalist of the Year honors by the London-based World Leadership Forum. A graduate of New York’s Fordham University, Christy majored in economics. A Pittsburgh native, Christy is an alumnus of Central Catholic High School.
